Liverpool head coach Arne Slot said in his FA Cup third-round press conference against Accrington Stanley that he is excited to see midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai and defender Jarell Quansah start.

Quansah start the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg defeat to Spurs 1-0 on Wednesday but was withdraw after half an hour with an illness. 

Liverpool will commence their journey in this season’s FA Cup at the third-round stage by hosting Accrington Stanley at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime. The Reds will be looking to secure their first win since the turn of the year.

Jarell Quansah and Dominik Szoboszlai will be available for selection as the Reds have no fresh injury concerns. Arne Slot is expect to make several chances with an eye on next Tuesday’s important Premier League trip to face third-placed Nottingham Forest. 

The English player has recently returned to training again and should be one of the first options to compete at Anfield.
